In that era, he secured his most lasting and beloved role as the camp houseboy Ho-Jon on MAS*H, a character he portrayed from 1972 to 1973.
He was an exceptional dancer, showcasing his skills during a television performance alongside Gene Kelly, who regarded him as a possible heir to Fred Astaire.
