M*A*S*H legend has died aged 82

Adiarte had a distinguished career in musical theater, featuring prominently in the film adaptations of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s productions, The King And I and Flower Drum SongThe actor, originally from the Philippines, also featured in iconic television series such as Bonanza, The Brady Bunch, Hawaii Five-O, and Kojak during the 1970s. In that era, he secured his most lasting and beloved role as the camp houseboy Ho-Jon on MAS*H, a character he portrayed from 1972 to 1973.

He was an exceptional dancer, showcasing his skills during a television performance alongside Gene Kelly, who regarded him as a possible heir to Fred Astaire.
