I like to believe the epilogue is all in Harry’s head. As Dumbledore said, that does not make the epilogue any less real, but at the same time it does not mean the epilogue necessarily reflects a definite future for the characters. I like to view the epilogue this way because it both allows Harry to have a happy life and allows me to give him an entirely different one.
