During the final episode of the show, Meghan took the opportunity to welcome in this “new chapter” of her life while giving a toast at a brunch she threw for her friends.
“This feels like a new chapter that I am so excited that I get to share,” she told her guests. “I’ve been able to learn from all of you so just thank you for the love and support!”
She then went on to share how much she “missed” doing things like this – which probably would have been impossible during her time as a working royal.
“All of that is just part of that creativity that I’ve missed so much,” Meghan added. “So, thank you for loving me so much and celebrating with me!”
She seemed to make another dig at royal life during the end credits, saying that the show helped her “reconnect” with herself. It sounds like she definitely must have been unhappy while living the palace life.

Page Six pointed out that Meghan seemed to echo this sentiment during her interview with People published earlier this week. She talked about shutting down her previous lifestyle blog, The Tig – a decision that seemed to be a requirement for marrying into the royal family.
“Well, I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more. So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second,” she said.
Being able to dive back into that world seems to have been good for her and her marriage, though.
“My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me,” Meghan added.
